I've had a few family members ask for an update on the pregnancy!
(Natalie Bradshaw, this is for you!)
(Natalie Bradshaw, this is for you!)
As of yesterday I am 14 weeks pregnant
-2nd week of 2nd Trimester.
I really can't believe I'm 1/3 of the way done!
Baby Gordon is about 3.42 inches and weighs about 1.52 ounces.
Baby Gordon's lungs are continuing to develop and baby is practicing breathing with the amniotic fluid on a regular basis now! This week baby is the size of a peach! (And just as fuzzy!)

I'm still feeling great!
I never had an ounce of morning sickness and I'm so blessed for that.
The good Lord was lookin out for me on that one, with me working full time & being in school at night!
No cravings,Smells aren't bugging me at all,
& I'm sleeping like a rock. (When Spencer isn't snoring..)
I'm also surprised by the amount of energy I have throughout the day.
(I'm certainly tired by the time I work all day and then school gets out at 10:15 pm)
I haven't had any food aversions. (Also thankful for this since I love my food..)
I have a pretty good size bump and Spencer keeps telling me he thinks this child will be monster size! I've had a few people touch my belly which I thought would bug me, but I really do love it..
I haven't been too hormonal or crazy (at least I don't think so..)
And thus far I've loved being pregnant. It's done some serious wonders for my skin and hair- which I'm also feeling extremely thankful for!
I was having some cramping and bladder problems a few weeks ago and my midwife asked me to come in for an ultrasound (yay ultrasounds!) Baby was moving and kicking like crazy and having a little dance party on the moniter, and I was laughing out loud. So fun to watch!
Baby's heartbeat was 169 bpm last time I got to hear it which was strong and healthy! We don't know the gender yet, but we will be able to find out in a few short weeks! Spencer and I cannot decide on a name for either gender, but we stil have lots of time to think about it.

I've been taking a mirror picture every week to document how my bump has changed and it's already fun to look back and see how much our little nugget has grown!
Most of the pictures I've taken are bare belly & I'm not sure how many of you care to see that. Here are some of the pics from the last couple weeks! (forgive me- some of these were taken when I was getting ready for bed!
the 14 weeks picture was taken last night and the bathroom picture was taken this morning!
