Easter

This weekend was pretty much amazing since I took some time off from work & had Saturday off from School. I was able to sleep in for THREE days in a row... Guess I better take advantage of that while I'm able to! I spent 3 days at Comic Con (another post in itself..)& Celebrated Easter with the fam.

Waking up to the real life Easter Bunny was heavenly. His little whispy hairs tickled my nose as he gave me kisses and hopped around the house.
(forgive me looking so tired- like I said, I slept in for 3 days)

Spencer was so cute and got dressed up for Easter dinner at my parents & left me hangin in a tee shirt and shorts. SO.. he helped me pick this outfit so we both looked nice for dinner & Easter pictures.

My Easter present from S: HE SHAVED HIS FACE!
Hallelujah praise above! I sincerely almost cried tears of joy. That damn beard has been the start of many arguments.. and I may or may not have cried over it once.
It's. Gone.

 {Isn't my sister beautiful?}
Yep. that's me lounging on the couch with Spencer.. AND a bowl of dessert on my lap.
Would you expect anything different?

This Easter I felt especially thankful for all I haven been given.
I really have been so lucky and so blessed to have such an easy pregnancy. I haven't had a day go by where I've taken that for granted. I'm so happy, and I think it's absolutely mind blowing that next year at Easter, I'll have a 10 month old baby boy entertaining us.

I'll probably need another three days of sleeping in too.

XOXO

Easter Sunday

Honestly this weekend was SUCH a good time!!
I loved Easter & I am in shock that it's already APRIL!
I don't know about your family, but mine rocks.

Here's a small look into our Easter Sunday!
(Duh, Winston got his own Easter treats!)

Sunday Brunch with the family...

Colored Easter Eggs...

I think I'll send these in to Awkward Family Photos.
SO. AWESOME.

I'm so happy the weather turned out to be so beautiful for Easter! Winston loved running around in the yard & it was fun to spend some time with the REAL Easter Bunny!!

I'm also so thankful for all that my Savior did for me.
He has made so many wonderful things possible for myself & my family. His love truly is infinite.. & I'm forever grateful for that..

I hope everyone had an AWESOME Easter!!
XOXO

Easter came early..

A portion of Easter came just a little early for Hazel and Claire this year!
Last week when we were shopping for our apartment we found the cutest Easter baskets that had Hazel and Claire written all over them.

Since Spencer leaves today to go back to work (boo..) We took the girls their Easter baskets a week early! Spencer was so cute in telling them we asked the Easter Bunny to visit them early while we were there, and hid their baskets in the yard.

Claire was looking under her swings on the swing set as Hazel started digging in the sandbox to find hers. We had a good laugh watching them and finally had to play "hot or cold" to help them out. Claire was BEAMING when she found hers, and Hazel looked super upset- blank look on her face, which we've come to learn is her excited face!
They loved their Easter baskets!!

Spencer takin a baby during the hunt for the Easter Baskets!

These pictures describe these girls PERFECTLY.

We went with Sherry, Nate and the kids in the limo to McDonald's. Nate drove like a pro and navigated the limo through the drive-through.
 Not joking.
Hazel and Claire took a Happy Meal to a little boy in their neighborhood that got hit by a car and has been a little down. I'm sure he loved their visit!

We finished our visit with gluten free pizza from Malawi's Pizza- Their dessert pizza is heaven.
We're so glad we were able to visit before Spencer leaves for work, and can't wait to visit again when he's back!

My love for these kids is unreal!
I have the best nieces and nephews in the WORLD!
