Gender Reveal!

Here are some LOTS of pics from our fun little Gender Reveal Party at my mom's house!
We had family and a few friends over to watch us cut the cake!
{the awesome cake was made by Noelle Pease- best cake-maker alive. DELICIOUS}

Our party consisted of lots of goodies! Pink and blue rice krispy treats, pink and blue jell-o, pink and blue cupcakes, pink and blue punch, pink and blue cotton candy.. I didn't take many pictures of the cute food!

{Custom Cupcakes by Sweet Tooth Fairy!}

HERE'S THE VIDEO:

You can hear my sister ask if she just lost $50.00 right before we cut the cake... she made a $50.00 bet with someone at work because she just KNEW it was a girl...

We are SO happy about Baby Boy Gordon!
Thanks so much to everyone who came and helped make our announcement so much fun!!

BABY GORDON IS A BOY!!
(and I'm still slightly shocked..)

15 Week Gender Appointment.

The way my appointments fall with my Midwife at the U, I wouldn't be able to find out the gender of Baby Gordon until around week 22!
(Midwives typically don't check for gender until week 18-20)

I had people ask me towards the beginning of this pregnancy what I thought I was having, and I thought everyone was nuts. Like, I had NO IDEA what was going on inside of me, how was I supposed to "feel" and "Know" what I was having?!

A few weeks later I was sitting on the couch going through my planner for the month and
IT HIT ME! "We're having a girl. Like.. I'm 98% sure it's a girl!"

Monday we went to Fetal Photos in Murray (the name of this place gives me the willies..)
to find out what Baby Gordon's gender is at 15 weeks exactly! This place was so clean, and had such a comfortable feel to it. The girl at the front desk was a total sweetheart, as was the girl who did the ultrasound. We felt right at home! We loved that it was done on a big bed rather than an exam table, and there was a big screen TV mounted on the wall so you could see everything without cranking your neck over to look at the little monitor!

Obviously I had to shellac my nails for such an occasion. Here we are waiting in the lobby!

When we got home we shared the news with Winston!
He's still really unsure about having a sibling..

We are having a Gender Reveal {mini} party at my mom's house on Friday and I can't wait to announce whether Baby Gordon is a GIRL or a BOY!
{We'll get to see how accurate my mommy instincts are!}

Any guesses?
BOY OR GIRL?

XOXO
