Boys Are Lucky

Am I the only one that dreams of the day that I can shower quickly, get dressed and be ready to go.?? Boys just don't realize how good they have it. Like Seriously.

Which is why I literally hate showering.

Spencer will laugh and joke about it.. but really.. I hate it, and it's a complete pain in my ass.
It takes 20 minutes to wash my hair twice (we'll get to that part in a minute..)
Then on top of that I've gotta wait long enough to make sure my deep conditioner had enough time to work its magic, then I have to wash my face, then I have to use my exfoliant, then I have to shave.. and hell knows how long that will take depending on the last time I shaved...

Now it's 4 hours later and I'm stepping out of the shower.
K maybe not 4 hours, but long enough until the water starts to go luke-warm which is unacceptable. NOW I've gotta dry off, apply lotion, serum my hair, towel dry my hair, use a separate lotion on my face... You guys get the idea yet??!

When I'm rich the first thing I'm going to do is pay Katie {the most amazing hairdresser in the world} to come live in my mansion and do my for me everyday. Including washing it over the sink because it's heavenly. Not just because she massages my head, but because I don't have to shower to do it myself.

Soo.. Katie did my hair on a Monday. I don't know what she does to it, but she puts her magical unicorn hair powers on it so it lasts forever. Which is great for me, because it means I don't have to shower {to wash my hair}. I promise I still bathe in between my showers.

{I feel like a million bucks when I walk out of the salon after Katie touched my hair!}

The following Sunday I sent her this picture:
with the caption that said, "So.. I guess since tomorrow is a week since you've done my hair, that means I better wash it today." Yeeep. I let 6 days go by and I didn't touch it.
I didn't brush it, or pin it up, it looked like this 6 days later after me sleeping on it. for SIX DAYS. In case you missed that part. Well, I let it go another 2 days.

So.. here I am, 9 days later, and this is what my hair looks like.
Awesome? Or disgusting.
Probably a little bit of both but I'm leaning more towards super awesome.
{Have I lost any followers yet?}

But that brings me to my next point.
Dry Shampoo is literally my best friend. Today is the first day I felt like I really needed to use it, and okay, I promise I'll wash my hair tonight.
{Which takes me back to my point of needing to wash it twice.}

This dry shampoo from TRESemme is AMAZING, I'll never buy another dry shampoo.
Plus it smells really good, so people will really think you washed your hair. Bonus!

I have a feeling this will also be my best friend after giving birth.

I also want to clarify that if I did my hair on my own, it would never last this long. Does that make a difference? I don't know what Katie does, but you'll have to go to her to find out for yourself.

Until next time, friends.
XOXO

    And I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't wash their hair for a week after leaving the salon. The blowout lasts forever!! AWESOME!

  9. I'm with ya sister. The whole sha-bang.. I go as long as I can without washing relying on dry shampoo daily and then need to wash it twice just to get all that dry shampoo and knots out. What a pain. But I only do it twice a week, so it's not as bad as it could be if I was a clean hair freak.. lucky for me, I'm not either. xoxo
