Bye Bye Sissy

Fatalie went back to school in Hawaii this week.

Huge Bummer.

It was fun to have my sissy back to hang out with and I'm thankful she'll be back soon for good! (but not soon enough..)

Sister Reunion

I feel like I have been SO BUSY with Family stuff the last week I kind of forgot about the blog for a minute. Which I think is good sometimes.

If you've been following my blog for the last 6 months you know my little sister Natalie AKA Fatalie has been living in Hawaii for school. She came home this past Friday & I was absolutely sick to my stomach the whole previous week because I was so excited. Like.. kid on Christmas morning excited. I thought I was going to throw up at the airport because I was so anxious for her to come down the escalator!

I'm pretty sure I screamed "MY SISTER!" when I saw her.

She also brought her boyfriend Tanner home to meet the fam. Tanner is an incredible surfer from San Clemente, California- he and my sister met in Hawaii 6 months and have basically been inseparable ever since.

(Tanner also just got his mission call to the Philippines! SO EXCITED!)

I had waited for this day for SIX MONTHS!

Friday Night

Natalie and Tanner made the rounds to see family & Spencer and I went to Tim McGraw!

The $10.00 Nachos and $5.00 Soft drinks were TOTALLY worth it. Good ol' Timmy put on an awesome show!!

Saturday night

we had a HUGE family & Friends BBQ to welcome home Natty & Tanner!

At the BBQ Nat said she had an announcement..

Sorry I didn't catch the whole thing on video. And ignore my hideous voice trying to sing..

SO Happy my little munchkin is going to serve a full time mission!

After the BBQ we went to the Superman movie, whatever it's called. I didn't love it. And I didn't have time to get popcorn so I basically got jipped.

Sunday

Natalie spoke in church about Fathers & did an awesome job. We went up the canyon to Taggart's for dinner and celebrated Daddy-o for Father's Day!

Whenever we go to Taggart's, it's tradition that we take one normal family photo, and one awkward family photo. We all have a slight obsession with awkward family photos.

A Ginger-rific Birthday!

Today is my 100th blog post!!
Which is a celebration alone!

Today is this little Ginger's 19th Birthday!!!!

19 years ago this flaming red head came out of the womb looking like a smurf child.. All blue and baby ugly with a red hair. Demon child? Probably

My mom tried to convince herself she birthed an Angel and dressed Fatalie up in an angel costume for baby pictures. Unfortunately for ya'll I couldn't find a picture.

ANYWAYS,

To honor ginger-face, I thought I'd post some pictures she doesn't know I have.

For those of you who grew up in the 90's know the TV show that was on after school.. ZOOM.

This was a recipe she followed from ZOOM one day. I'm not sure, but I THINK they're cookies..

Here she is with prune fingers looking all innocent..

You should have seen her little ginger fro when her hair was that short and dry!

She was a total water weenie growing up! IF she wasn't in the pool, she was laying naked in the bathtub with her underwear pulled up around her chest and my dads big tee shirt wrapped around her legs pretending to be a mermaid.

Good times I tell ya..

This picture is PROBABLY one of my favorites. When Fatalie was little she would wish for more freckles so they would all blend together and she would just look tan. Like one giant walking freckle. You can see on her cheeks she was doing a good job..

Now this next picture is for those with children who are a little on the crazy side. If this doesn't give you hope, I don't know what will....

See.. Even if your child decides it's really funny to take the curly red hairs out of her hair brush to make it look like chest hair... There's still potential she MIGHT grow up normal.

In this case, I think We lucked out with Fatalie..

Natalie is someone who I KNOW I will have a good time with.

Guaranteed.

SURPRISINGLY, not EVERY picture I have of Fatalie is ugly..

AND, on occasion we like to be normal together.

[rarely..]

We will always share a love for using strange voices for each other, name calling (to one another, gory zombie movies & looking at awkward family photos. [Of other people.]

 We will never get sick of laughing about the time we went to family dinner at Robintino's when dad was REALLY moody, and I shot a spit wad right at his forehead.

Sometimes you just need a good ice-breaker!

This little ginger is growing right up- 19 years old today.

BUT no matter how old we both get, she'll always be my best friend.

Some of my favorite times have been with Fatalie.

Busy Busy

August has been such a busy month I feel like I have hardly had time to blog about anything. Over the next week my blog will be flooded with update posts on what's been going on!

TO SUM THINGS UP...

I have stayed SO busy at work. Our previous cashier put her two weeks in, and luckily for me my SISTER got the job! She has been so awesome and everyone LOVES her!

Working with Fatalie has been so fun, and such a blessing for me helping me out at work. We get to be together everyday which I'm super happy about considering she is moving to Hawaii in December!

 

I've been busy with Lash Extensions which is awesome! 

I enjoy doing them and it's decent money on the side.

 

I've also started taking newborn pictures and have absolutely fallen in love with working so closely with babies and their moms. A special thanks to my friends for having beautiful babies that make this job so fun!

Spencer started school this week and his first day seemed to go pretty well.. I'm hoping his English class doesn't get too overwhelming he has a written paper due every Tuesday and Thursday.

As you can see things around here have been busy.

Primary Class

Missing a few kids in this picture..

Last Sunday was my last week as a Primary teacher to the CUTEST 4 year olds I've ever seen.

This made me beyond sad.
The funniest things I've ever heard from children came from these kids.

EVERY WEEK was hilarious with these kids!

Last week was technically supposed to be the last Sunday in our home ward. With Spencer working at Halliburton when we first got married the Bishop told us to stay in our home ward until he was finished living in Vernal so I wasn't going to a new ward by myself..

BUT today Fatalie sang in Sacrament meeting soo that meant we just stayed for the rest of the block.

Sitting in Sunday school I could hear the Primary singing in the next room. I could especially hear one little girl in my class- she is HARD to miss!!

When church was over a few of the kids ran and found me in the hall to show me the pictures they colored. Their genuine love and tight tight hugs will never get old..

I sure will miss those little muchkins!!



Fatalie's Graduation

I cannot believe that Fatalie is a High School GRADUATE!
I know I'm a little behind on all of this but I guess better late than never!

It seems like just yesterday we were outside playing together when we took this awesome gem of a picture..

Now this little Ginger is all grown up!

Probably because my parents knew I barely graduated. Apparently attendance has a part in grades. haha who knew..

Nat and Jeff are by FAR the smarty pants in the family.

Nat you may be all grown up, but we'll ALWAYS know how to have fun together.

We are all so proud of you and can't wait to hear about your adventures in HAWAII.
