Friday Mix-Up

Hey everyone!
Today I thought I would switch things up from my usual Friday Letters!

I wrote a blog post back in March and wanted to re-post it. This has hit home quite a few times lately, and I love the importance of the message behind this.
This post is about judging others.
I love the short video in this- I think it's totally cute!
Have you ever been in a situation like this?
PLEASE Tell me your stories and give me your input!

  1. I looooved that video! It's one of those things about "don't judge a book by it's cover". People forget that we're more alike than we think, we all have flaws. Every single one of us, no one is perfect.
Thank you for re-sharing that post & writing this one! Sometimes we all need that little reminder.

  2. Bleh. This is so true, but so hard to grasp... at least for me!
    Happy Friday!

  3. nice post :D btw, I found your blog through the blog hop and I'm your newest follower. Hope you'll stop by and follow me back. Have a nice day!

  4. "No judgment can hurt you when you realize someone is judgmental because it's a reflection of their own insecurities."

Let them judge, Mikell. Let them be disillusioned, Mikell.

There is only ONE judge and we will all have our day.

  5. I love that video.. Except I have dirty laundry AND dirty windows, so judge away! Truly I have learned time and time again that I don't know anything about the mom who is yelling at her kids, or the man who is begging on the street corner. My new philosophy is to love them and say a prayer for them and be a good person in my own way.

  6. Good for you girl! Great post!

PS: I hope you don't mind, I was a copy-cat today and did a "Friday Letters" post on my blog!

    Curves & Curls

  7. yess that quote defines just what i'm feeling lately. not that others are judging me, but i feel like i've been judging others and its no good. so i'm workin on it! I saw that video once in RS and i loved it. had to watch it again :)

  8. I totally concur with the quiet stereotype. I can't tell you how many friends I had tell me that they thought I was uppity when they first met me because I didn't say much. In reality I'm totally shy with people I've never met and I don't want to offend them if I ask the wrong questions etc. anyways it's always a good reminder to give anyone the benefit of the doubt and most importantly not take everything personally.

  9. Love you blog! I was nominated for the Liebster award! Now I'm nominating you!
